The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Thursday assassinated Ashraf Na’alwa a Palestinian resistance fighter following a joint security and military operation in Askar refugee camp in Nablus city.
Na’alwa was accused of carrying out the deadly shooting attack on October 7 in Barkan industrial zone in Ariel settlement near Salfit city in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli media reports said that special forces killed Na’alwa during a joint operation by the Shin Bet the army and the police.
They claimed that Na’alwa was armed when the forces arrived at his hideout in Nablus and that an exchange of gunfire ensued leading to his death.
During a two-month manhunt for Na’alwa the Israeli security and military forces kept storming several West Bank towns and villages raiding homes and kidnapping relatives and young men in order to find any information leading to him.
