The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday afternoon assaulted a Palestinian woman before detaining her near the Ibrahimi Mosque in al-Khalil City.
According to eyewitnesses the woman lost consciousness and fell to the ground after soldiers severely beat her.
Other sources said the IOF opened fire at the woman but there was no confirmation if she suffered a bullet injury.
The IOF claimed the woman stabbed and slightly wounded a Jewish settler near the Ibrahimi Mosque.
