A number of Palestinian schoolchildren suffered from their exposure to tear gas on Thursday morning after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked their school and its nearby area in the east of Juhor ad-Dik town in central Gaza.
In a brief statement the Palestinian ministry of education said that a number of child students from the Qaysaria School suffered from the effects of tear gas after the IOF showered the areas in the east of Juhor ad-Dik with tear gas canisters.
The ministry added that those students were transferred to a health center for medical assistance.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — civilians farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis in violation of ceasefire understandings with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza.
