For the third day running the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday morning assaulted Palestinian students as they were en route to their schools in al-Lubban Ash-Sharqiya village south of Nablus.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the soldiers deliberately obstructed the arrival of girl and boy students at two local schools located near the main Ramallah-Nablus road.
The soldiers he added showered the students with tear gas along with their families who escorted them to make sure their children make it safely to schools after the IOF attacked them in the last two days. Several students and their relatives suffered from their exposure to the gas fumes.
Meanwhile a horde of Jewish settlers deliberately disturbed the school day in Lubban Ash-Sharqiya after they attacked under military protection students at the gates of these two schools.
A number of local residents also rallied in the morning hours on the Ramallah-Nablus road to protest against settler violence. Skirmishes ensued with soldiers and settlers.
Over the past two days the IOF attacked with tear gas Lubban Ash-Sharqiya students as they were walking to their schools near the Ramallah-Nablus road leading many of them to suffocate and go home.
