The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday morning attacked Palestinian farmers in the east of Gaza City with no reported casualties.

Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers fired machine guns and tear gas canisters at farmers in the east of Shuja’iya neighborhood. Luckily all the farmers escaped unhurt from the area.

Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis with no regard for the ceasefire understandings over Gaza or even the international law.

According to local sources the IOF launched a gunfire and teargas attack on farmers and their swaths of land in the east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

No one was reportedly hurt in the IOF attack which forced the farmers to leave the targeted area.
