The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked on Saturday morning Palestinian shepherds and farmers during their presence in different agricultural areas in the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to local sources the IOF launched a gunfire and teargas attack on shepherds and swaths of cultivated land in the east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
The IOF also opened machinegun fire at farmers and agricultural lands in the east of al-Abasan al-Kabira town east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
No one was reportedly hurt in the IOF attacks but the intensity of the shooting forced the shepherds and farmers to leave the targeted areas.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — civilians farmers and fishermen almost on a daily basis with no regard for any ceasefire deal in Gaza or even the international law.
