The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked on Wednesday morning an agricultural area and fishermen in the east and west of the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers opened machinegun fire from their posts at agricultural fields in a border area in the east of southern Gaza particularly in Khan Yunis and Rafah forcing farmers to leave the area.
Meanwhile Israeli gunboats attacked fishermen and their boats with live ammunition during their presence within a few nautical miles off the shore of Rafah in southern Gaza and forced them to return ashore.
No one was reportedly hurt in the IOF shooting attacks.
Under an inhumane siege the Israeli army keeps attacking — sometimes injuring or killing — fishermen and farmers almost on a daily basis with no regard for any ceasefire understandings over Gaza or even the international law.
