Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday opened fire at Palestinian fishermen boats off the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip and farmers’ lands east of Khan Yunis.
Local sources reported that Israeli gunboats opened machinegun fire and water cannons at fishing boats three miles off the shore of al-Sudaniya area in the north of Gaza City.
The intensity of the shooting forced the fishermen to return ashore and at least one boat was damaged. No one was reportedly hurt in the shooting attack.
Meanwhile military observation towers and the IOF vehicles on the border strip east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip fired at farmers east of al-Qarara area forcing them to leave their lands.
IOF almost daily fires at Palestinian fishermen in Gaza’s sea and farmers in northern and eastern Gaza Strip border areas.
