The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday prevented Palestinian farmers from gathering olives in Salem town east of Nablus in the West Bank.
Farmer Amin Ashtiyeh told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that his family went in the early morning to their plots of land near the road between the illegal settlements of Itamar and Elon Moreh east of Nablus but Israeli soldiers intercepted them and prevented them from entering the area.
The farmer added that the soldiers ordered them not to approach the area at the pretext that there were hundreds of Jewish settlers performing rituals and celebrating on the road and nearby lands.
