The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday prevented Palestinian farmers from working their lands in Qaryut area in southern Nablus.
Local activist Bashar al-Qaryuti said that the IOF barred owners of Qaryut agricultural lands from entering the area except for some plots of land pointing out that Jewish settlers pitched tents in the same area as a prelude to seizing it.
Qaryuti added that the competent authorities and legal institutions had been notified of these Israeli practices and urged to intervene to stop them.
This agricultural area is about 200 dunums of land planted with olive trees and located near the illegal settlement of Eli southeast of Nablus.
