The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night opened machinegun fire at different areas in the besieged Gaza Strip mainly in the east of Khan Yunis.
According to local sources Israeli troops opened fire intensively from a watchtower near as-Sanati area in the east of Abasan al-Kabira town towards swaths of cultivated land.
Similar shooting attacks happened on agricultural areas in the east of al-Qarara town northeast of Khan Yunis and in the east of al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
The IOF also opened machinegun fire at a residential area in the east of al-Fakhari town southeast of Khan Yunis causing a state of panic among the families living there.
No one was reportedly hurt in the shooting attacks.
