The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) installed on Saturday evening a checkpoint at the entrance of Nabi Saleh village in Ramallah province and restricted the movement of citizens.
Jamil Khalil a driver from Beit Rima village said that the checkpoint led to a long queue of vehicles waiting at the eastern entrance of Nabi Saleh village.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli soldiers deliberately stopped the vehicles carrying young men and then searched them and scrutinized their identity cards.
The checkpoint caused a traffic jam at the entrance prompting the drivers to honk their horns in protest at the soldiers’ practice.
