NAZARETH (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) command claimed that a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip was captured two weeks ago when he tried to infiltrate into Palestine occupied in 1948 to carry out an attack.
The Hebrew radio said that the IOF lifted a gag on publishing the news on Wednesday adding that the detainee is called Tarek Al-Bilbisi 34 and that he was being investigated.
It claimed that IOF troops fired at Bilbisi and another person who was with him but despite hitting him he managed to escape adding that the infiltration was made through Egyptian territory.
Meanwhile Jewish settlers on Wednesday assaulted three Palestinian citizens in downtown Al-Khalil.
Medical sources told the PIC that a 50-year-old man and his son and a relative were beaten up near their home adding that their injuries were slight to moderate.
