Al-Jalamah crossing north of Jenin city was packed with Palestinian passengers and vehicles on Thursday evening after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) closed it and prevented them from moving in both directions for several hours.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers at the crossing closed it suddenly and embarked on provocatively searching passengers and vehicles.
The Israeli-controlled Jalamah crossing is the sole designated exit and entry point for Palestinians traveling in and out of the 1948 occupied lands.
