Israeli occupation forces (IOF) closed on Thursday the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia north of Nablus.
Muhammad Azem the mayor of Sebastia said that the IOF soldiers stormed the town closed the archaeological site and prevented Palestinians from reaching it to secure the entry of dozens of Jewish settlers into the area.
Azem added that the settlers announced a program to raid the town in the coming days in an attempt to impose a fait accompli and achieve their settlement plans in the area.
