The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday closed the main entrance to al-Fawwar refugee camp south of al-Khalil and prevented Palestinian citizens aboard vehicles from going in or out.
A Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter said that soldiers blocked the main road leading to the camp with no known reason forcing hundreds of citizens to walk long distances to reach their destinations.
He added that the drivers also found themselves forced to take rough and dirt roads to enter or leave the town.
Every once in a while the Israeli army closes the main entrance to the town and some access roads as part of mass punitive measures often taken against the residents following stone-throwing attacks.
