The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday blocked the road connecting Palestinian villages with each other in northern Ramallah and Birzeit.
According to local sources the IOF closed the swing gate at the entrance to Nabi Saleh and prevented Palestinian vehicles from using the road prompting them to use alternative routes to reach their destinations.
The road closure was aimed at providing protection for Jewish settlers to celebrate the occupation of Palestine (the foundation of Israel) near the illegal settlement of Halamish.
