The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening closed the road barrier at the entrance to Palestinian villages and towns in the west of Salfit province particularly near the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan.
According to local sources the closure led to a heavy build-up of traffic in both directions of the road and obstructed movement of Palestinian vehicles and citizens traveling from and to the villages and towns in the west of Salfit.
In Salfit there are 18 Palestinian villages or towns while there are 24 Jewish residential or industrial settlements that keep encroaching on more Palestinian lands.
