The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday closed the Wadi al-Dalb road that connected Ramallah city with its western towns and villages and prevented Palestinian citizens from using it.
According to local sources scores of Palestinian citizens had to use rough or long routes to reach their destinations after the IOF deployed the road barrier there.
The same road had been closed last March by the IOF as part of Israel’s daily repressive measures against the Palestinians in the West Bank.
On the same day the IOF blocked with mounds of dirt and rocks the road connecting Shi’b al-Batin hamlet and Ma’in village in Masafer Yatta south of al-Khalil.
The road had been rehabilitated and reopened several times by a local committee resisting Israel’s separation wall and settlement activities.
