The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) confiscated on Wednesday drilling equipment worth over million shekels after notifying a Palestinian industrial facility north of al-Khalil city with stop-work orders.
The media activist in Beit Ummar town Mohammed Awad said that the IOF raided a stone quarry in Shib al-Sir area near Karmei Tzur settlement south of Beit Ummar and handed its owner Yousuf Abu Ayyash two stop-work notices without prior warning.
Awad affirmed that the IOF ordered the owner of the quarry to refer to the Civil Administration in Gush Etzion settlement to decide on the issue noting that the quarry has been operating for 18 years.
