The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday evening stormed an archeological area in Burqa village north of Nablus and declared it a closed military zone.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that the IOF closed off al-Mas’audiya area which is an ancient site and park and prevented Palestinian citizens from entering the area.
He added that the IOF escorted a group of settlers to the site in order to hold celebrations.
