The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday handed Palestinian citizens stop-work and demolition orders issued against Palestinian homes in Nabi Ilyas village east of Qalqilya.
Local official Mohamed Abul-Sheikh said that two citizens received demolition ultimatums against homes under construction belonging to them in the village without stating the number of these unfinished houses.
Abul-Sheikh accused the Israeli occupation authority in the West Bank of using all means to deprive the Palestinians of their right to build and live on their land.
In a separate incident the IOF on the same day bulldozed swaths of Palestinian land in the east of Tulkarem to build a road for Jewish settlers.
Mayor of Kafr al-Labad town Ihab Ghazalah said that the IOF bulldozed swaths of land in Ras al-Maseed area near the town and other nearby areas and built a 10-kilometer road stretching to the illegal settlement of Avnei Hefetz.
