Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday demolished four Palestinian agricultural facilities in al-Jiftlik village in the northern Jordan Valley.
Local sources said that the IOF stormed al-Aqaba area in the village and knocked down an agricultural structure owned by Palestinian citizen Murad Jaber.
The demolition came one day after an Israeli court rejected a petition filed by Jaber’s lawyer against an Israeli military order to demolish his structure.
The IOF further destroyed a water well a barn and a pool in the same area.
Based on new Israeli decisions Palestinian citizens who receive demolition orders are not given enough time limits to file petitions or even evacuate their threatened structures.
The Israeli government is planning to confiscate thousands of dunums of agricultural land in the Jordan Valley in preparation for completely annexing the West Bank settlements to Israel.
