Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Wednesday demolished a number of Palestinian agricultural facilities and bulldozed vast tracts of privately-owned farmland in different areas in the West Bank.
Local sources reported that the IOF demolished three agricultural rooms under the pretext of being unlicensed and razed two dunums of farmland in Farsh al-Hawa area west of al-Khalil City.
In the nearby town of Masafer Yatta south of al-Khalil the IOF distributed demolition notices against three residential facilities and a tent designated as a makeshift clinic to battle the coronavirus pandemic.
Similar notices ordering the demolition of a water well and a number of agricultural structures were distributed to Palestinian citizens in al-Walaja village west of Bethlehem City.
Meanwhile the IOF destroyed several vegetable stalls owned by Palestinian vendors in the northern Jordan Valley without prior notice.
IOF arbitrary demolition campaigns in the West Bank have been on the rise especially following the Israeli government’s recent announcement about the annexation plan.
