Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished on Monday ten buildings in the Al-Ma’rjat area north of Jericho.
The activist Fares Kaabneh said that the IOF razed six sheep pens and four houses in the Arab al-Kaabneh area in Al-Ma’rjat.
Kaabneh pointed out that the facilities were owned by the citizen Mahmoud Al-Kaabneh and his three sons Odeh Salem and Ghaleb under the pretext that they were unlicensed buildings.
He said that the residents were displaced without prior notification and added that the IOF also confiscated all the property found in those facilities.
A periodic report issued by Hamas’s media office monitored a sharp rise in Israeli violations in conjunction with the Saif Al-Quds battle in the West Bank and Jerusalem last May as 6750 violations were carried out by IOF and settlers.
The IOF soldiers demolished three houses while owners of dozens of houses were notified of planned demolition according to the report.
