The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained 100 Palestinians within the past 24 hours across West Bank rights sources revealed.
Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) identified 46 out of the 100 Palestinians and confirmed that among the detainees were a woman two lawmakers and a journalist.
According to PPS Israeli forces detained 16 Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of al-Khalil while at least ten others were arrested in Bethlehem.
In the central West Bank district of occupied Jerusalem another 10 Palestinians were detained.
Meanwhile Israeli forces detained six Palestinians in the central West Bank district of Ramallah.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer there are 5554 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons of whom 51 are female prisoners 230 are children of whom 41 are under the age of 16 years.
