The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a number of incursions into various parts of the occupied West Bank on Thursday resulting in confrontations and the arrest of 11 Palestinian citizens who were transferred to unknown locations.
According to local sources the IOF soldiers rounded up two young men Moath Mohammed Abu Aker 25 and Ahmad Merie Daamsa after storming and searching their families’ homes in Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem.
The sources pointed out that the occupation forces raided Jabal al-Nasr in the Nour Shams refugee camp east of the city of Tulkarem and arrested Bara’a Qur’awi 31 the son of MP Fathi Qur’awi.
Bara’a is the second son of MP Qar’awi to be detained by the occupation forces within a week the sources said noting that the IOF arrested his other son Hamza last week.
At dawn clashes broke out in the villages of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya south of Nablus north of Qalqilya and the town of Anata northeast of occupied Jerusalem. No arrests were reported.
In the same context Israeli “0404” website reported that Israeli forces arrested eight Palestinians from Shuafat refugee camp in East Jerusalem.
