Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested the Palestinian ex-prisoner Ahmad Falnah after storming his family’s home in Saffa town west of the West Bank city of Ramallah on Monday.
“Ex-prisoner Ahmad was arrested in February 2021 after the IOF injured him with five live bullets” Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) said adding that Ahmad was interrogated under horrific circumstances while he was in the hospital.
The PPS held the IOF responsible for the health condition of prisoner Ahmad calling for his release in order to receive the medical care he needs in addition to the support of his family.
Ahmad’s arrest comes one year after his release which was on the 3rd of October 2021.
18-year-old Ahmad underwent several medical surgeries during his previous arrest and was transferred to the prison instead of receiving medical care at the hospital which further exacerbated his medical condition.
Around 5200 Palestinians including children women patients ex-prisoners and elderlies have been arrested since the beginning of 2022.
