The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) erected Tuesday afternoon a make-shift checkpoint at the entrance to Kafer Hares town north of Salfit.
Eyewitnesses told PIC reporter that several Palestinian vehicles were stopped and searched at the checkpoint. Some drivers were questioned at the scene.
Several others were forced to take other alternative roads to reach their workplaces.
Restricting movement is one of the main tools Israel employs to enforce its regime of occupation.
Israel imposes restrictions on the movement of Palestinians within the West Bank and travel between it and the Gaza Strip into occupied Jerusalem Israel and abroad.
These conditions result in a life of constant uncertainty for Palestinians making it difficult to perform simple tasks and plan their lives and obstructs the development of a stable economy.
