The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning prevented a number of Palestinian farmers from staying on their lands in al-Khalil city.
According to local sources Israeli soldiers stormed grapevine fields in Farsh al-Hawa neighborhood in the west of al-Khalil city and ordered farmers to leave the area.
The soldiers claimed that the measure was intended to secure the travel of Jewish settlers on a nearby road.
The IOF also set up checkpoints at the northern entrances to al-Khalil and the entrances to the towns of Beit Kahil Sa’ir and Halhul where they embarked on intercepting Palestinian vehicles for security check.
The IOF also raided and searched several homes in al-Khalil city.
