Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot dead a Palestinian man near the town of Silwad east of Ramallah on Friday morning.
According to local sources IOF opened fire at a vehicle driven by the martyr near the Ofra settlement which is established on Ramallah lands. He was seriously injured before he was declared dead.
The IOF claimed that the young man tried to carry out a car-ramming attack targeting the soldiers in the area.
As a result clashes broke out in Silwad between Palestinian youths and IOF who fired tear gas canisters and metal bullets.
Meanwhile confrontations erupted in various areas of the West Bank during rallies supporting Al-Aqsa and protesting against the continuation of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that clashes broke out in Budrus village in Ramallah during which IOF fired live ammunition at the demonstrators.
In Nablus hundreds of citizens marched from Al-Nasr Mosque towards the Shuhada roundabout in the city center after Friday prayer.
The marchers raised Palestinian flags and banners condemning the aggression on Gaza and praising the Palestinian resistance.
In al-Khalil dozens of Palestinians started a rally in the southern area of al-Khalil in support of Gaza and Al-Aqsa.
The rally was launched from the Wasaya al-Rasol Mosque then clashes broke out with the IOF soldiers at the Abu Al-Rish checkpoint.
