The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday stormed Ras Khamis suburb in Shu’fat refugee camp east of Jerusalem and prevented local residents from going in or out.
According to local sources a large number of Israeli troops on foot and aboard patrol vehicles spread through the main street leading to the Shu’fat camp and Ras Khamis suburb and blocked it.
The IOF barred citizens from leaving or entering the camp and the suburb in that area and fired volleys of tear gas and stun grenades at angry local young men to disperse them.
