Clashes erupted on Friday evening between the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and Palestinian youths in Jenin and Bethlehem. A boy was injured and dozens suffered breathing problems.
Local sources said that confrontations broke out near the Al-Jalama checkpoint northeast of Jenin. The boy 17 was wounded by the IOF gunshots while others suffered breathing difficulties.
The sources pointed out that the boy was injured with a live bullet in his thigh. He was taken to a hospital in Jenin where his condition was described as stable.
Meanwhile eyewitness reported that clashes erupted between Palestinians and IOF soldiers in the vicinity of Bilal bin Rabah Mosque at the northern entrance to Bethlehem.
IOF fired sound bombs and tear gas canisters but no injuries were reported.
