NABLUS (PIC)– IOF soldiers at dawn Thursday set a Palestinian home on fire during an incursion into Nablus city’s Balata refugee camp that was coupled with intensive firing of live bullets and projectiles at civilian homes.
Palestinian security sources said that IOF troops in 15 armored vehicles stormed the city of Nablus then into the refugee camp east of the city amidst indiscriminate heavy shooting.
They said that the incursion ended with the kidnapping of two citizens a 50-year-old man and a minor.
In Bethlehem district IOF troops reportedly kidnapped an Islamic Jihad activist who was wanted for the past five years in the Khader town. The Hebrew radio quoted an IOF spokesman as saying that Anwar Al-Assi was suspected of training others on firearms.
