The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday morning kidnaped at least 18 Palestinian citizens in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
According to local sources in the holy city Israeli police forces rounded up a young man called Anas Abul-Hems as they were escorting Jewish settlers during their tour of the Aqsa Mosque in the morning.
Five Jerusalemite citizens were also taken prisoners in Issawiya during police raids on their homes.
The IOF also stormed Shu’fat refugee camp and al-Eizariya town in east Jerusalem and ransacked a house in the latter.
In the West Bank the IOF stormed Beit Fajjar town in Bethlehem and kidnaped six young men some of them teenagers under age 18 after searching their homes.
Five of those detainees were young men from the family of Taqateqa and one was identified as Mohamed Thawabteh.
Two teenagers identified as Nidhal Radwan 19 and Imad Shabita 17 were kidnaped from their homes in Azzun town in Qalqilya.
The IOF also kidnaped a university student called Nidhal Ghanayem from his home in Umm ash-Sharayet neighborhood in al-Bireh city and another young man identified as Mahmoud Abbas from his home in al-Am’ari refugee camp south of al-Bireh.
In Nablus the IOF kidnaped an ex-detainee called Saleh Sabah from his home in Urif town at dawn. His wedding was slated to be held next Friday.
Another young man named Aref Nassar was rounded up following a raid on his home in Madama village south of Nablus.
