The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday morning kidnapped a Palestinian citizen from outside a Palestinian government institution in Tubas city east of Jerusalem.
According to the Palestinian ministry of religious affairs plain-clothes soldiers kidnapped Abdul-Qader Bani Odeh an official of the Awqaf Directorate in Tubas.
Palestinian minister of religious affairs Yousef Ad’eis condemned the kidnapping of Bani Odeh as a “cowardly act” and a “reflection of the Israeli occupation’s nature.”
Ad’eis called on the Mosque preachers and imams to deliver khutbas (sermons) about the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails to rally support for them in light of their exposure to suppression by jailers.
