The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Monday evening a Palestinian young man after assaulting him and his mother in al-Khalil City.
According to WAFA news agency 29-year-old Yehya at-Tamimi was kidnaped by Israeli soldiers after they beat him and confiscated his cellphone.
The soldiers also assaulted Tamimi’s mother as she tried to prevent the soldiers from assaulting and detaining him in Bab az-Zawiya area in central al-Khalil.
A family source said that Tamimi was walking with his mother to the pharmacy next to the house to buy a medicine for her when a group of soldiers showed up in the area and embarked on harassing and assaulting them.
The source added that Tamimi was taken prisoner while his mother was transferred to a local hospital in the city.
