The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Wednesday night a Palestinian citizen assaulted his family and carried out confiscations during a raid on his home in southern al-Khalil.
According to local sources a large number of Israeli soldiers broke into and ransacked the house of Maher Abu al-Turk in the southern area of al-Khalil City detained his family members for over four hours and assaulted and brutalized them.
One woman from the family identified as Nour Abu Turk had bruises and a dislocated shoulder when officers assaulted her as other soldiers went on the rampage through the house.
The IOF also seized two cars owned by citizens from the family pillaged a carpentry workshop and other homes belonging to them and confiscated woodworking equipment.
Earlier in the evening the IOF kidnaped a Palestinian young man after opening fire at his car near ad-Dhahiriya town in southern al-Khalil with no known reason.
Local sources said that Israeli soldiers chased a car carrying Palestinian registration plates near the Mitar checkpoint in the south of ad-Dhahiriya town and opened fire at its tires before subduing and detaining its driver.
