The Israeli occupation forces (PIC) on Saturday kidnaped a Palestinian citizen in al-Khalil province in the West Bank and obstructed the movement of Palestinian vehicles on a road in Jerusalem.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped Ra’ed Tanina from his home in Tarqumiyah town west of al-Khalil.
The detainee is one of the Palestinian Authority security officers in the West Bank.
In Jerusalem the IOF set up a checkpoint at the entrance to a tunnel leading to Palestinian villages in the northwest of the city which caused a heavy build-up of traffic on the road.
This road is the only lane leading to the villages in the northwest of Jerusalem.
