IOF kidnaps dozens of Palestinians last night in W. Bank and J’elm

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped dozens of Palestinian citizens last night and at dawn Tuesday during campaigns in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to the Hebrew website 0404 Israeli forces arrested 12 wanted West Bankers accused of being involved in activities against Israel.

Five others were also arrested by the Israeli police in Jerusalem for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers’ homes.

The Israeli army claimed its forces found weapons during a search campaign in Atara town north of Ramallah.

It also said that its forces arrested a Hamas-affiliated citizen in Nablus city after finding a gun in his possession.

In a related context Palestinian activists reported that the IOF kidnapped two citizens in Hizma town east of Jerusalem and 12 others in Nablus Tulkarem and Silat ad-Dhahr in Jenin.

Meanwhile the IOF stormed and ransacked a Mosque in Beit Furik town east of Nablus after causing damage to its doors.

In the context of an ongoing operation to look for Ashraf Na’alwa who recently shot dead two settlers in Barkan industrial area the IOF stormed Shuweika suburb in Tulkarem and the nearby town of Iktaba.

According to local sources the IOF stormed several homes in Shuweika suburb including homes belonging to his father and relatives as well as stores factories structures under construction garages workshops a cattle farm and agricultural areas on the western plain of the suburb .

Two citizens identified as Majed Na’alwa and Amran Abu Ahmed were detained during the IOF campaign in the suburb.

The IOF also conducted on-site interrogation with several citizens about the whereabouts of Na’alweh and warned them of helping him in any way.

A portable loudspeaker was used by the IOF asking Na’alwa to turn himself according to local sources.

IOF raids on homes and other arrests also took place in other areas of the West Bank.
