The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday evening assaulted a Palestinian teenager and his mother in al-Khalil city.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped 17-year-old Mohamed Jaber the son of human rights activist Aref Jaber after assaulting him and his mother.
The sources said that the IOF subdued and detained the kid to protect extremist Jewish settlers from the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba after they attacked homes in Jaber neighborhood in the Old City of al-Khalil.
The family of activist Jaber had exposed to similar assaults before by the IOF and settlers because of his role in documenting and exposing Israeli crimes in al-Khalil.
