The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped on Thursday a number of Palestinian citizens during dawn and morning raids in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
According to local sources in the holy city police officers kidnaped a Palestinian young man from a currency exchange store in Salahuddin street near the Aqsa Mosque closed the store and seized a large sum of money.
The Israeli police also kidnaped five Jerusalemite citizens from the Old City at-Tur town al-Eizariya town and Shuafat refugee camp.
Two teenagers were kidnaped by police forces last night from the east Jerusalem district of Silwan.
In the West Bank the IOF kidnaped a young man from Deir Abu Mash’al village in western Ramallah.
Meanwhile the IOF set up in the morning a makeshift checkpoint at the junction of Arraba town in southern Jenin and intercepted Palestinian vehicles and citizens for security checks.
