IOF kidnaps several Palestinians injures others in W. Bank and J’lem

Several Palestinian citizens were kidnaped and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out dawn and morning raids in different areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to local sources three young men were injured after the IOF stormed Kafr Dan town in the northwest of Jenin.

Eyewitnesses said that the IOF raided homes spread in its streets and on rooftops of some homes and clashed with local youths adding that resistance fighters showered IOF vehicles with a hail of bullets during its campaign in the town.

The IOF kidnaped Mohamed Abed the uncle of martyr Ahmed Abed who carried out a shooting operation along with one of his young relatives at the Jalamah military checkpoint in mid-September after raiding his home in Kafr Dan.

In Nablus two young men were injured by a rubber bullet and a tear gas canister after the IOF stormed the eastern area of Nablus and clashed with local youths who hurled stones at armored vehicles taking Jewish settlers to Joseph’s Tomb for rituals.

Resistance fighters reportedly clashed with Israeli soldiers and threw explosive devices at IOF vehicles in the east of Nablus City.

In Bethlehem the IOF kidnaped two young men from the city and al-Deheisha refugee camp.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnaped two teenagers as they walked through a military checkpoint in ash-Shuhada street in the Old City.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank including Tulkarem and Ramallah and raided several homes with no reported arrests.

In east Jerusalem the IOF kidnaped last night at least 20 Palestinian citizens during a large-scale arrest campaign amid violent clashes with local youths in different areas.

Several Jerusalemite young men reportedly suffered injuries during clashes with the IOF in different areas of the occupied holy city.

During the overnight clashes in the holy city local youths showered border police forces and vehicles carrying them and settlers with Molotov cocktails stones and firecrackers.

According to the Hebrew media two police officers were injured one police vehicle was burned and settler cars sustained damage during violent nighttime clashes in the east Jerusalem district of Issawiya.

Armed clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and Israeli police officers reportedly took place at the Qalandia checkpoint in east Jerusalem on Wednesday evening.

Last night the IOF stormed as-Salam suburb in Shuafat refugee camp and kidnaped two young men from the family of a Palestinian accused of carrying out the shooting operation that killed a female soldier a few days ago.

In a new incident a Palestinian teenager suffered a bullet injury in his leg on Thursday morning after he allegedly threw stones at a bus carrying settlers near the illegal settlement of Gush Etzion in northern al-Khalil.
