IOF kidnaps six Palestinians in West Bank

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnapped at dawn Thursday six Palestinian citizens after raiding their homes in different West Bank areas.

In a statement on Thursday the Israeli army said its forces arrested six wanted Palestinians in the West Bank.

The IOF arrest campaigns took place in Kobar village (north of Ramallah) al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya village (northwest of Ramallah) Beit Fajjar town (south of Bethlehem) Qabatiya town (southwest of Jenin).

The IOF also raided homes in other areas of the West Bank without making arrests.

In a separate incident the Israeli police kidnapped a teenager from his home in Silwan district south of the Aqsa Mosque.

According to Wadi Hilweh Information Center police forces stormed and ransacked the house of 16-year-old Mohamed al-Abbasi rounded him up and took him to one of its stations in the holy city.

IOF kidnaps six Palestinians in West Bank

BETHLEHEM (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Sunday kidnapped six Palestinian citizens from their homes in Bethlehem al-Khalil and Tulkarem.

Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) Israeli troops aboard 12 military vehicles stormed al-Doheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem and raided several homes before kidnapping a young man named Rabea Shamroukh.

Consequently violent clashes broke out between young men from the camp and the invading troops.

One young man suffered a rubber bullet injury in his stomach during the events and was rushed to hospital for medical treatment.

The IOF also kidnapped 26-year-old Ahmed al-Huraimi from his home during a campaign in Wadi Shahin area south of Bethlehem.

In al-Khalil the IOF kidnapped a brother of two resistance martyrs from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas and physically assaulted another one during a violent raid on their home.

Local sources explained to the PIC that a large number of Israeli soldiers stormed al-Jaldah area in al-Khalil city and raided the house of al-Qassam martyrs Tareq and Jihad Dofash where they beat their brother Obada and maltreated other members of their family.

They added that the soldiers kidnapped another brother of the martyrs called Baraa and took him to an unknown place.

Another two young men were reportedly taken prisoners as well in al-Khalil one of them was identified as 19-year-old Mohamed Sharif.

In Tulkarem local sources reported the kidnapping of an 18-year-old teen named Ibrahim Salami by an Israeli military force without giving further details.
