The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Sunday kidnaped some Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
According to local sources police forces kidnaped two Jerusalemite young men during clashes with local youths in the Old City.
Eyewitnesses said that violent clashes broke out in different neighborhoods of Jerusalem mainly in Bab al-Amud area near the Aqsa Mosque.
During the night events police officers reportedly kidnaped a young man called Ahmed Melhem from Bab al-Asbat area and a teenager called Mohamed Sa’eida from Wadi al-Joz neighborhood.
Several young men reportedly suffered injuries when police forces physically assaulted them during the events in the Old City of Jerusalem.
In the West Bank the IOF kidnaped 22-year-old Bahaa an-Najjar during his presence at the main entrance to al-Fawwar refugee camp.
The IOF also stormed and patrolled other areas of the West Bank with no reported arrests.
