The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Sunday evening kidnaped two Palestinian citizens after opening fire at one of them during campaigns in different areas of Bethlehem.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped a Palestinian young man after opening fire at him in the central district of Bethlehem City. No information if he was injured.
The young man was identified as Ali al-Battat an ex-detainee from Bethlehem City.
Eyewitnesses said that a large number of Israeli troops and vehicles spread through as-Saf street of the city amid drone overflights before raiding an apartment building in the area.
The IOF also clashed with local youths and showered them with tear gas and stun grenades during its campaign in the city.
In a separate incident the IOF kidnaped on the same day another young man in southern Bethlehem.
Local activist Ahmed Salah said that the IOF kidnaped Maher Issa a resident of al-Khader town in Bethlehem during his presence near al-Jaba village southwest of Bethlehem.
Meanwhile the IOF stormed the outskirts of al-Tira neighborhood in Ramallah set up a makeshift checkpoint on the road leading to Ein Qiniya village and fired tear gas canisters at local youths who gathered in the area.
