The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Saturday arrested two Palestinian citizens in al-Khalil and launched large-scale raids in other West Bank areas.
Palestinian sources said that the IOF arrested Ismail al-Ja’bari and Adly Ghaith after raiding and searching their houses and transferred them to an undeclared destination.
According to local residents the IOF raided Aida refugee camp north of Bethlehem city but no arrests were reported.
The IOF further set up checkpoints at the entrances to Sa’ir and Halhul towns in al-Khalil searched the Palestinian vehicles passing the area and scrutinized the passengers’ IDs.
In another context Hebrew media sources claimed that an Israeli military vehicle was attacked on Friday night with homemade grenades near the western entrance to Azzun town east of Qalqilya.
