A Palestinian citizen was killed on Thursday afternoon when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him in the east of al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that 41-year-old Mohamed Ammar was shot dead by IOF gunfire as he was hunting birds in Wadi Abu Qatron area to the east of al-Bureij camp.
He added that the young man died immediately and was transferred to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah City.
In an earlier incident several IOF bulldozers and vehicles infiltrated limitedly into the east of Gaza City while soldiers fired live ammunition at a group of farmers in the east of Khan Yunis south of Gaza. No one was reportedly hurt in the shooting attack.
