NABLUS (PIC)– Large numbers of IOF soldiers stormed the Balata refugee camp east of Nablus city at dawn Wednesday and rounded up 25 Palestinians including the wife of a wanted activist.
Local sources said that the soldiers broke into homes and kidnapped the wife of Nasser Abu Aziz a wanted activist along with 24 others including four from one family and a teenager.
The IOF units remained entrenched in a number of alleys in the camp till the early morning hours firing sonic bombs and live bullets at citizens.
In Jenin IOF soldiers burst into the home of a wanted Quds Brigades activist at dawn Wednesday and kidnapped his brother and his 60-year-old father in a bid to pressure the wanted activist into giving himself up.
The invasion troops had kidnapped three Palestinians in Qalqilia on Tuesday including the mother of a wanted Qassam activist who has been wanted for the IOF intelligence for the past four years.
In Tulkarm the IOF troops burst into a number of garages for repairing cars in the city on Tuesday evening and confiscated five cars with Israeli plates owned by Arabs living in the 1948 lands.
The IOF command had warned the garages not to repair any car with Israeli plates.
In the Gaza Strip a member of the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas was wounded at an early hour Wednesday while confronting an advance by IOF soldiers in central Gaza.
Local sources told PIC correspondent that the soldiers were advancing east of Deir Al-Balah when they were met with the fire of Qassam fighters.
The Qassam operation rooms said that its fighters fired two RPGs at two IOF bulldozers that were being escorted into that area.
