The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Tuesday stormed different areas of the West Bank and kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens targeting leaders of Hamas in al-Khalil.
In al-Khalil IOF arrested Sheikh Naif Rajoub a Hamas member of the Palestinian Legislative Council his brother Sheikh Yasser the leader Abd al-Khaliq al-Natsheh the deputy Muhammad Ismail al-Tal and a number of released prisoners.
According to a list that includes the detainees in al-Khalil IOF soldiers have arrested Atef Rab’a Sheikh Ibrahim al-Hathalin and the two brothers Hudhaifa and Qutaibah al-Makhamra and Fadl Jabareen all from Yatta town.
In Dura town Muhammad Ismail Abu Arqoub the deputy Sheikh Nayef Rajoub and his brother Sheikh Yasser Ayoub al-Awada Issa Rajoub Adam Abu Sharar Nafiz Shawamreh Raed Hamdan and Laith Awada were arrested.
IOF also arrested Muhammad Ismail Al-Tal the deputy in the Legislative Council and Osama Shaheen the prisoners’ affairs activist.
IOF arrested Mounir Manasra from the town of Bani Naim Marwan Abu Farah from Surif Thaer Awad from Beit Ummar Abdul Basit Awdah al-Harb Professor Muadh Abu Juhaisha Adnan Mahmoud al-Tal and Dr. Zaid Muhammad Abu Dayya.
In Bethlehem IOF arrested Ahmed Qassem Al-Sheikh 50 from Marah Rabah village south of Bethlehem Ibrahim Muhammad Jubran 27 from Mount Handaza to the east Yasser Mahmoud Sabah 37 and Muhammad Adel Atallah 33 from Harmala village after breaking into their houses and searching them.
In Ramallah IOF arrested the young man Ezz Khalaf Al-Ta’mari from his house in Zeit town and the young man Mahmoud Musa Ali Qandah from Abu Shkheidem.
According to a periodic report issued by Hamas’s media office in the West Bank violations of IOF escalated in the West Bank and Jerusalem during August.
